How the estimate works
Annual cash after ramp = base salary + target annual variable × modeled attainment. First-year cash adds any extra protection from a non-recoverable monthly variable-pay floor during the ramp months. Each ramp month pays the greater of the modeled monthly variable or that floor; it is never added twice.
This assumes a full 12 months of employment and linear variable payouts at the same modeled attainment each month. It excludes accelerators, thresholds, caps, recoverable draws, sign-on bonuses, equity, benefits, taxes, and expenses. Real compensation plans can behave differently. A guarantee entered here is your assumption until confirmed in writing.
